Criminal Law

The main focus of my work as a criminal defense attorney is helping individuals or juveniles who have been, or are going to be, charged with property crimes, drug crimes, and driving violations.I defend clients who have been charged with property crimes such as shoplifting, theft, burglary, robbery, and criminal mischief. I represent person involved with drug charges for possession, manufacturing, or selling of drugs such as methamphetamine, marijuana, and cocaine. I also work with clients that are charged with drunk driving, reckless driving, speeding, and minor traffic violations.

As a former prosecutor in both Vanderburgh and Warrick counties, I am very familiar with the local system. I work hard to advocate on behalf of my clients to make sure their rights are being protected at all times.

Family Law

I have helped many families work through family law issues, including step-parent adoptions. I also work with clients to help them through the process of making modifications to their divorce decree or paternity orders. Typical modifications include: a change of custody, child support, visitation or parenting time, and, in some situations, emancipation of a child for child support purposes.  I also work with clients to establish guardianships to ensure that a responsible party is caring for a child.
